Since 1983 R & M BEARINGS have been looking after clients in the Tayside and Fife Regions of Scotland, supplying quality bearings and power transmission equipment.

When Europe opened up in 1992, R & M BEARINGS joined into a partnership agreement with the European ABS group allowing them better access to the world's bearing leaders. Hence Offering our clients more choice of manufacturer and better prices, this means that all our bearings such as SKF, FAG, RHP, TIMKEN, ZVL, ZKL, NKE, and INA are all supplied with the manufacturer' warranties through our sister companies. Since 2003 we are now the sole UK distributors of KG Brand Bearings of Dubai.

Our Sales Office in Scotland is attended by 6 sales staff, all fully trained to met your requirements on any type of bearings or power transmission item, and our on-line internet connection with our overseas offices guarantees quick delivery on items not even available in the UK.

Full in house training in Scotland is given to our staff, and overseas developments mean that you our clients, are kept informed of changes made in our ever-changing engineering world. All our new products are relayed to our staff on regular training days to keep R&M top of our class of Excellence.

In 2003 we became members of the world renowned European Power Transmission Distributors Association, only a handful of companies are accepted into the group. The European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA) is the largest organisation of distributors and manufacturers of power transmission and motion control products in Europe. It represents over 170 companies of the industry. EPTDA is dedicated to providing its members with information, education and business tools required to profitably meet the needs of the industrial market place. The EPTDA offers a unique platform for productive communication and networking between distributors and manufacturers on a senior management level.
